Draconis, the sunniest star in the sky, remains a fascinating mystery to astronomers around the world. It is also in the constellation of the dragon. A star as magical and mysterious as the fragrance he inspired. The olfactory pyramid of Draconis is another star in Tiziana Terenzi’s collection – a noble exploration of the infinite wonders of countless combinations of precious raw essences. A beguiling balance of contrasting yet complementary aromas is opened with a sparkling double act of Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian grapefruit, highlighted by the sweet sunniness of Matera’s Lemon and the orangey soapiness of Basilicata neroli.
The citrusy topnotes is brushed with the intensely peppery heat of black pepper and rare green pepper before being cooled by an aromatic juniper berry. A soft, minty-rosy geranium softens the intensity of this spice fusillade, melting it all down into a silvery, rare and precious frankincense, accompanied by Madagascar vetiver and red patchouli from Sri Lanka. Balsamic, but also fresh and spicy, these accords are given enormous radiance and tenacity by way of a diffuse ambergris and musk base. Draconis is a mysterious, deep fragrance.

The gilded heavy lid of each fragrance shows the phases of the moon as depicted in a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci and underlines the preciousness of every creation in this collection.
